Most patients chose to fill out their intake forms online prior to their initial appointment and links are available here. However, if you do not have the time or ability to fill out the forms online beforehand, we do have paper forms available for you to fill out upon entering our office.
Consultation
Next, you will have a consultation with one of our doctors to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for our healthcare professional to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine
E-Ray & Examination
After your consultation, we will take the necessary imaging and perform all necessary examination testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see theirX-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.
However, we can assure you nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Therapy Session
Most of our patients can benefit from one of our therapies prior to their relief adjustment. So it is highly likely you will be placed on one of our safe and effective therapies depending on the doctors recommendation. Therapies can include intersegmental traction, electrical stimulation, low level laser therapy, class IV medical laser therapy, acoustic wave aka shockwave therapy or therapeutic cupping.
Relief Treatment
We will always adjust the primary area of complaint on your initial visit as long as it is safe to do so based on your doctors findings. Patient safety is always front and center followed by our desire to help get you out of pain. So please trust the knowledge and expertise of our chiropractors and we promise, good things will come. Prior to you consenting to the adjustment, the doctor will show and explain to you your X-ray and exam findings, describe the recommended adjusting technique and converse with you to make sure you are comfortable with our
recommendations before the adjustment. Again, patient safety is our primary concern so the initial adjustment is sometimes softer and more gentle than what you see on YouTube or TikTok videos but rest assured, we are doing exactly what your body needs in the state you presented to our office in. Please heed the doctors advice for post- adjustment activities and try your best to get back in for your follow-up visit as soon as possible, ideally within 48mhours to keep the momentum from the first adjustment going in the right direction.
Wellness Program
Prior to leaving, the doctor will suggest a wellness program to incorporate outside of treatment. If you are in pain when you first come into our office this may include: ice or heat application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and/or stretches. If you desire, our wellness team will work with you also to create healthy habits and routines for your lifestyle. Every person is unique, therefore everyone requires a customized wellness plan. The purpose of our wellness program is for you to achieve good spinal alignment, have a healthy diet, exercise, and maintain a positive mental state.
Check-Out
At the check-out desk, our staff will give you a folder withhelpful information for you to read about our office and home-care instructions. The staff works very hard to provide you with as much information regarding healthcare insurance benefits but please understand this often requires speaking with the insurance companies by phone which takes time. So while they will do their best to give you an estimate for the initial visit and future visit costs, it is not always possible at that time. We accept cash, check, credit, debit, HSA & FSA as well as both in-house financing and financing through Varidi. Varidi is a medical industry financing company that offers patients 100% credit approval for up to $4k in healthcare bills and 0% interest. You just pay a one time set up fee, usually between $180-$220, and pay them back over time, interest free.
Report of Findings
Once our doctors have assessed all X-ray and exam findings prior to your second visit, they will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:
1. How can you help me?
2. How often do I need to come in?
3. What will my treatment cost?
Your doctor will then discuss recommendations and address any concerns you may have before moving forward with the adjustment.
