Disc Bulges & Herniations

Disc bulges and herniations are conditions in which the outer edges of the discs, located between the vertebrae, are damaged. This causes the center to bulge or be pushed out. This is a very common issue and it is often, but not always, quite painful. Many people who have this condition feel nothing at all. The quality and intensity of it, for those who experience pain, depends on the type and position of the bulge.

Subluxations

Subluxation is a medical term describing a misalignment in the vertebral column. There are a wide variety of causes, including physical stress, trauma, and toxins. Subluxations are often quite painful and can disrupt normal movement.Subluxations are one of the most overlooked contributors to back pain. Chiropractors are trained to identify and correct this issue using non-invasive adjustment techniques.

Stress and Back Pain

Chronic stress is taxing on the body and can lead to hyper-tension and chronic back pain. The back pain is a result of tension and muscle spasms that occur when stress hormones are released. The tension will often build up in what are referred to as trigger points. These trigger
points can be very painful and need professional attention to resolve. Chiropractors have the knowledge to relieve stress from trigger points and to resolve nervous system imbalances that keep your body locked up with stress and pain.

Pinched Nerve

A pinched nerve occurs when there is pressure being placed on a nerve due to a bone or disc pressing against it due to an array of possibilities including repetitive motions, poor posture, sports injuries, auto accidents, slip and fall accidents, workplace related accidents or arthritis just to
name a few. Chiropractors adjust joints in the spine and extremities in order to bring the joint closer to it’s original position, thus removing pressure being applied to the nerve and allowing patients to move and function pain free without the use of drugs or surgery.

Personal Injury Care

Recovering from an injury is hard enough, but it is especially distressing to try to recover from an injury that was caused by something out of your control. Being able to find care soon after an injury is one of the most important factors in dictating the potential outcome of your

recovery. Doyle Chiropractic is known as a leader in the Simpsonville SC area for personal injury care. We work with insurance companies and personal injury attorneys on our bills for services rendered so that patients don’t have to pay out of pocket. So just like you don’t owe your
attorney for their services until the auto insurance company settles the case, we don’t get paid until the case is settled as well. This allows our patients involved in a car wreck to focus on getting healthy and not stressing over how they are going to afford to pay their medical bills. Our
wide variety of treatment options help our patients see positive health outcomes that would not be attainable in more traditional clinics. When properly addressed, it is possible for a patient to fully recover from their injuries within a few weeks to months.

Sports Injury Care

Have you suffered a sports injury? Have you heard of athletes such as Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Aaron Rodgers, Tiger Woods, and Lance Armstrong? These are some of the elite athletes who attribute a large amount of their success to the chiropractic care they received throughout their careers. In addition to the success experienced by these world- class athletes, you may have noticed chiropractors along
the sidelines of NFL football games and the most recent Olympic events. Doyle Chiropractic has been providing care to local amateur competitors, student athletes and professional sports teams for years.
